Lefima ist still on the market, but not as manufacturer of drum sets. They offer concert and marching percussion.

It is one of Germanys oldest drum makers, the link above might help to get some information.

Yes, after researching today I think this kit is from the late 30's, early 40's.

Snare has the silk steel-wounded snares on it.
