CMI appears on the UFIP stencil brand list:

That doesn't prove that UFIP manufactured that particular cymbal because it seems from some other cymbal brands on the UFIP list (eg Ajaha, Bellotti, Zanchi) that they may have been manufactured by UFIP in some years and by other Italian foundries in other years. The uncertainty is in part because different individuals moved in and out of the UFIP group over the years. Tosco is but one of several other Italian foundries.
On to the nitty gritty details. See the smudge to the right of the CMI logo on the stencil brands image? Is there a hint of anything on yours? I can't tell if that smudge is just contrast enhancement at work or if there is really something more to the pressed in logo.
Do your 14" Tosco hats have a Tosco pressed in trademark stamp? And do they have that same rectangular stamp giving the diameter in cm and inches?
