bottom hoops off, eh? nice clip band3
The funny thing is that if you played that clip for someone and they didn't know, they would swear that those "Tama" drums sound great! lol! ;)Burger Kin
cool video of one of my favorite bands and drummers....Anyone else notice how high up Stewart set those cymbals..holy cow!
....wow...those TAMA sound great! How'd he do it?.....hehehehe
He has a set of ape hangers for cymbal stands for sure. My brother played that way for short time. Then he figured it was costing time better used for fills. Go figure.
It's also rough on the rotator cuff.
Wow! He must have EQ'd the heck out of those Tama's to get them to sound like that...
jonnistix - apehangers; I haven't heard that in a while! lol A fellow I knew tried to convince me that cymbals sound better if their high up like that. My response was only the B8 mixes sound good that far away. I don't think he got it...
DAMN they got those Tama's sounding sweet!!
But really, that kick sounds way better there than any of those Tama
recordings they did. Way more Thudwig on the low end! Yes Sir
