Well I am very happy with this device. May need another :-)

Attached photo is gen 2 lugs in various states. Clogged screw holes from tumbler etc.. Lower right has been hand polished once. These will just get a low speed cotton wheel buff/wax done. Huge time saver.

I'm seeing the tumbler polishes over small pits that the ultra sonic cleans.

Running 135 F with 15 minute soak between 7.55 minute cycles for 2 hrs.

Still sorting the best way.

I looked these up on the Bay and there are some for a good price. Have not researched them yet to see exactly how they work, but the question is..... If we have been using distilled white vinegar, letting parts soak overnight, can you then use the vinegar in this unit? One would think that it would be the best of both worlds.

That question I'm not sure. Unit is just vibrating the fluid so shouldn't matter what that may be. Gas/Acetone/Aircraft-Stripper etc excluded :-)

I've always used this product for my tension rods. It does an amazing job AND is re-usable. No scrubbing at all. Just soak overnight and wipe clean in the morning!

Thanks for the input, I will look at Harbor Freight this week to see if they have one for a good deal to try out. BTW - Nice work on the tone controls! No issues with the felts being in the ultrasonic? I would imagine that they dry out pretty quickly?

I will give the Evapo-Rust a try, as it is no VOC's and no odor I bet it would also work in the ultrasonic.

CTMichaelV: The tone controls are clean down to the felt. Just patted them dry and hair dried both sides. Bunch of dirt in the unit. Always a good sign.

Not a work majic device but a worthy addition.
