Lucky Star Drums

Loading...

A few days ago, I came across a Lucky Star bass drum pedal on eBay. The words, "Lucky Star NEW TYPE" were stamped onto the board. The seller was from N.Y. The listing has now ended. I became curious and did some googling. Sure enough, I found a Lucky Star badge with the typical Star qualifiers, "World's Supreme Quality" imprinted onto the black oval badge. This would definitely point to the pedal (or at least the badge) being made by Star. Trouble is though that I've never seen such a badge before. I may be wrong but, I don't think any are posted on this forum. Does anyone know anything about Lucky Star drums? Thank very much. Just curious.

Thanks for replying. Rod. I believe the drums are very early in Star's history. I would also imagine that a set of these stencils would be quite rare. Maybe Ralf will chime in. Thanks again, my friend!

Morning, Rod,

I contacted the seller yesterday and offered him any information I had on the pedal. He really wasn't interested since the pedal had been sold. Oh well, at least I offered.

Hello Brian,

Yes, Lucky Star is already on my list of badges:

But I've never seen such a pedal (would love to see a pic of it).

Cheers, Ralf

Hi, Ralf!

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, the pedal has been sold and the image gone. It's the only one I have ever seen as well.
