I own these beautiful 602s....
Feast your lookers on these (and feel free to post your own 602s!)...
A popular model, the pre-serial Paiste 602 20" Medium Ride

then, a somewhat rare find; an 18" pre-serial 602 Thin Crash

and finally, an even rarer item: factory-matched pre-serial 14" 602 hats; the lightest hats I've ever owned or played; the top is paper-thin!

These cymbals were purchased in 1972 with a Ludwig kit; the owner bought the set-up, tried to learn to play drums, gave up, and stuck them in a closet for 30 years. I happened upon these cymbals in the summer of 2002 and leapt at the chance to get them. 99% of the stick marks on the cymbals were made by me!
Now, for some other sexy 602s in my stable:
24" 602 Medium Ride

20" Medium Flatride (pre-serial - it has "Pat.Pending" stamped in red ink underneath, where a bell would be)

and finally.....one for Bill (aka drumaholic)
Some strange etching under the bell of my 18" 602 Thin Crash - this etching appears on my 20" Medium Ride and the 14" hats, all pictured at the beginning of this post. I emailed Paiste (Switzerland) about this .... the etching reads "1-72"...I remember that Bill had one that read "4-72" that he sold. Do you still have the image, Bill?
