Hi Guys,
I'm wondering if someone here ever tried to reproduce a special vintage Wrap via custom order (Print).
And tried to fit a (like so) rewrapped Drum into an existing (vintage) Kit.
If so, how did it turn out?
Is it possible to print on Wrap like Delmar if I order a plain glossy white sheet?
Experiences highly appreciated.

I re-wrapped a rack tom with blue sparkle from Jammin' Sam's. It matched my 60's Ludwig set perfectly.
Like Jerry, I have seen that some match up pretty well with historical wraps in Sparkle and Oyster Pearls. I would recommend asking for a sample from the various suppliers to compare and make sure. Precision's wraps are really really close to the originals. A lot of the companies like Walopus, Bum, etc will take your print and make a wrap for you.

I just ordered samples of white (Delmar and another) Wrap in order to make test prints. The biggest Challenge its to create the perfect layout/ template Photo of my Premier's Silver Star…

That wrap wouldn't just be a "print". It actually has depth/surface features. Like you should be looking for textured aluminum sheets.

You're right, good point I also thought about a lot. That structure/ texture is very hard to imitate successfully by printing.
I'll research for aluminum sheets/ textured wraps.
