MIJ lugs

Loading...

I am going to restore some MIJ drums as a donation to an annual fund raiser that I started last year. This is a fund raiser for our local animal shelter called Music 4 Mutts. Anyway, I have discovered that four of the bass drum lugs are useless. If anyone has some of these they could donate or sell very cheep I would appreciate it very much. I only need four of them and I actually only need the casings as the inserts and springs are fine. Mine have a hole spacing of 2 3/8". I will start a thread on the project once I get going.

From green glass drum

Mr. JC,Do you know what brand of MIJ lugs those are sir?

No, Im sorry I do not know. They came off a red sparkle bass drum with no badge, see pic below.

Edit, I went and took a closer look at the shell and I see a shadow of an oval badge, and then I looked in my box of badges and found an Apollo badge, so Im pretty sure its from the same drum,Apollo.

I just quickly checked my stash too ,Jeff but, nothing similar. Pearl? Damn, I'm off to practice now but, I'll tear my extra parts boxes apart tomorrow. If I can possibly locate three more, they're yours! What a great cause!! Respect out to you, sir and to Rod (grantro) as well!
