1979 Corder 5-piece Brushed Brass

Loading...

Hello everybody :-) I have a 1979 Coder 5 piece in brushed brass that was custom ordered by my uncle new in '79. He doesn't play anymore and sold it to me, but this kit isn't really my style, so I've been thinking of trading/selling it. Sizes are (diameter x depth): 8x8, 10x8, 12x11, 16x16, & 22x14. The snare pictured with the kit has sold separately & is no longer available. I do have a 6.5x14 COW Corder snare as well. It's just the shell, lugs, and hoops. I can throw that in as well if you are interested.

The drums have been gigged and played with for 35 years, so there is some signs of aging. The brushed brass wrap has some scratches and minor rusting on it, but the chrome hardware looks really nice for its age - a few scratches on the lugs near wingnuts, but no pitting. All of the hoops and mounts are original besides one floor tom leg mount (which was professionally replaced with a Ludwig replacement), and one or two wingnuts. Two of the original wingnuts have cracked, but are still very usable. Bearing edges are in great condition & these drums tune up really well.

$650 + shipping. I'm located just outside of Cleveland, OH if you are close enough for pickup.

Grantro! The buyer got a good deal on the snare, too... I've got a 6.5 chrome over wood Corder snare missing the throwoff system that I should try to put back together to throw in with this kit. Those wood Corder snares are monsters!

Which part of the snare system? The throw and butt plate or just one of them?

The SFT690 throwoff system and butt plate is missing. I have all the lugs and hoops for it, just not the snare system.
