Guess the brand

Loading...

These cymbals were advertised locally and are now on their way to me.

I thought to see vintage lathing and b20. And I was in a gambling mode.

The attached pic was the only available. The 3 of them weigh close to 4 kg.

E.T.A. coming Tuesday.

Until then, what do you think?

Brand / series / era / material?

Let's hear your thoughts.

Cheers, Wouter

The bottom one looks like it was made in Italy in the 70s in the Tosco factory. (due to the 1.5 inch bands in the lathing)

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I would have taken a gamble on those as well. They have a good look to them. Good Luck!

I agree with drummerjohn333. Possibly Italian made ..

And the verdict:

All three of them are.... (drumroll).....

Constantinople (Italian made)

13 3/4 inch in diameter

Around the 1100gr weight

A very nice set of cymbals. Definitely worth the gamble.

Thanks for sharing your expertise.

I'm just seeing this now! I've had some similar experiences buying cymbals. Good score! You have a good eye. I would have guessed Italian too. I have 12" versions of this band cymbals with the hand straps. Constantinople trademark with crescent moon and star. They're nice! Good bottom hi hats. Now you're going to have to start matching up hi hats. Sounds like fun. :)

Enjoy!
