Hey all - I'm new to the vintage drum forum. My true baby is a "66 Slingerland Champagne sparkle...However - recently saw a Mica Sonic Deluxe on craigslist going for $299...Ruby Strata wrap in good to very good condition...I'd like to play around with it, change heads etc and see what kind of sound I could get...Barely anything listed anywhere for mica sonic...trying to get a fix on whether the price is fair....

This one? http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/msg/5961440348.html
If so, looks like a nice little MIJ kit, maybe a little on the steep side, but does come with new AMBs all around. I can always get these kits to sound good & it's always fun!
BTW, Welcome to the forum! There's lots of info here on these MIJ kits, their history & how to maximize their potential.

Yeah that's the one! I thought it's a bit steep too, but a cool little sort of mod kit!
