Most of my cymbals have the sweet spot . So far I haven't marked them up .I have to play "light" and it does make a difference. Is there a special trick/mark/tape to put on the spot? Thanks,Vati

I used a water washable felt tip pen. Just a dot marks the spot.

Once I know where it is I can easily find it again relative to the stamp position without marking up the cymbal. Even if you gig with a half dozen different cymbals, you will eventually learn where each sounds best and how to find "the spot".
