I suppose I could post an unhappy shed scene. Unhappy only because it's cold and lonely in Boothbay Harbor now. Sorry to leave it in such despair Manny.Violin

Here is my 1969 Black Strata kit. I actually took these pics earlier today for the purpose of selling it, but as I had set it up, well of course I had to play it....and hmm...hesitation followed. Hmm...

Sweet strata kit. That would be hard to part with.

From Dan Boucher

Sweet strata kit. That would be hard to part with.

It is!

But I never use two rack toms anymore, and prefer 20" bass, so I really should let it go....if it only didn't sound so good! Aargh!

That Onyx kit looks really great Dan, shed or no shed. :)

That's how it looks from one side, but the other......... Well, as Manny said when I got it from him; Yikes! :(

Still a useful kit. 1969 Citadel 20, 13, 16. All original, no mods. Looks like a set that came together from the factory. Early enough to still have all the markings of a Dayton set with machined collets and so forth. I will eventually have to decide what to do about the failed wrap. Would be nice to find a replacement FT shell with the wrap still adhered because the bass and tom are not too bad in that regard. Cracks, but still adhering overall.

Holy mackerell! I had missed that part!

Will still sound great of course, but it's no oil painting....

Now that you mention it Sweets, maybe it would look good with oil paintings on the shells. Or how about that '57 Buick covering from Compact! Maybe I will wait until Compact has some car from '69. How about a '69 Chevelle SS drop top?

Here's a garage find (well, it was in my garage) to add to the post:

well that's great and a beautiful drum as well. You certainly deserve it, you have put a lot of time into the research on these drums. You definitely are the go-to man when it comes to Rogers and you're very generous with your knowledge.

Thank you!
