Salesman Sparkle or Mint Oyster Glitter?

Loading...

I'm making a vintage style kit..

22" Dia X 14" Bass, 16'X16" Floor tom and 13" X 9" Rack tom. All with rounded over bearing edges.

Help me decide whether to wrap it in Salesman Sparkle or Mint Oyster Glitter... Which one would sell the drums faster/fetch a better price?

Not crazy about either but if it is to sell I'd avoid the salesman sparkle. That's so unique you might be sitting on them a while.

If it is to sell, I suggest a simple sparkle (maybe champagne) or a simple pearl (white or black). Those are popular and I think would have the best chance to sell.

Like the above opinion, neither wrap does anything for me in regards to resale. There are just too many other "standard" finishes I'd use for a traditional-sized vintage-style kit that have more universal appeal. Just my :2Cents:

Well... I couldn't decide so I'm gonna' do both! :) First up is Salesman, then I'll do another of the same sizes with Mint Oyster Glitter.

Well I would not be surprised if you get a lot of requests for wrap!

Please keep us posted as to which wrap sells faster. I'm curious....

And if you can do anything, why copy other wraps? What do you offer that no one else has?

Maybe do that like sparkle pearl BUT use champagne glass glitter as the base. That I'd like to see!

I would love to see the salesman wrap you make. I have a 5x14 snare that would look great in it.
