Ludwig late 70s concert toms

I know this is probably a redundant question, and I did do a search and found a lot of info, but not what I was looking for. Do all Ludwig concert toms have the mini lugs? I was thinking maybe some of the larger ones (specifically 15x12) had large lugs, but I'm not sure. These are also already cut with bearing edges, correct? I'm entertaining the idea of just converting a concert tom, but I don't want mini lugs. Any draw backs to converting these to 2 headed? Thanks!

Far as I know they only came with Mini Classic lugs. The three I have come across all did. They also do have bottom bearing edges that were factory. Thought about converting mine, just didn't get around to it. I have a 15" & 16" on my kit.

Damn. The mini lugs would drive me insane, so I guess that idea is squashed. Unless you can retrofit large lugs with an extra hole? Is this possible? I'm thinking no :P

you can install large lug by drilling new hole, old hole will be covered by lug on outside, and oversized fender washers would cover holes on inside.

Nice! Thanks for the info. May do this if I absolutely can't find what I'm looking for.

What is the name of the model of these kits? The ones with pointy b/o badges, kick and two-sided floor toms and a bunch of concert toms. I've been doing a lot of research on old Ludwigs and it seems like I find out about new models of kits all the time (classic series, projectors, etc.)It gets a bit confusing. I just need to make sure I buy what I want.

Hah, alright thanks. So the kick and floor tom are just regular ol' 6 ply drums then?

If wood shells then all the shells would be the same as far as ply makeup, they also made quite a few of these concert tom kits in Vistalite. I own a black Vistalite kit called the "power factory", it is 10,12,13,14,15,16 concert toms a standard double headed 18" floor tom and 22"bass drum.
