No this was a complete kit. It looks as though the floor tom and bass were exposed to light on a certain side. The bottom and front heads/hoops were also off most of its life. Looks like I'm going to have to re shape the bearing edge on the 13" tom as it has several gouges from the bass drum lugs.

Great kit !! #3 Novus may scratch. Try #2 first. Looking forward to finished.

I bought a set of SBP Ludwigs that'd gone the other way. Chalky and lighter. Used Meguiar's Plast-X on them. Before and after. Big difference..........

I did notice some scratching on the floortom, but there were so many nicks and scratches in that wrap that it didn't really hurt.

I actually found about three small pieces of tape that I didn't even realize we're on there.

I will probably only use 2 on the tom and bass drum. If I use 3 at all it will be for really bad scratches.

Yeah that definitely brought that wrap back to life!
