I just bought this 6 piece Premier Signia Marquis and was wondering if anyone on this board has played this style of kit before? The kit is a blend of two different three piece kits. One has natural maple finish and the other has dark cherry finish. The sizes are all sequential which makes it very convenient. 8x10, 10x12, 12x14 14x16 and two 18x22 kicks. I will play the kit as a six piece but may ultimately sell one of the three piece kits to re-coup some dough. I paid $650. How did I do? They appear to be in very good condition.
Premier Signia Marquis
Price sounds good though depends what country you are in!
They don't generally hold the same value as the Signia line themselves.
The 6ply/6mm US maple shells are generally thought to be the same shells as in the Artist Maple line that was sold at the same time, the main difference being the die cast hoops and lugs etc
Great sizes anyway
I used to play a 5 piece kit (in a fantastic British racing green finish) for a few months, borrowed from a friend of mine.
I loved the sound and look of that set, warm and punchy at the same time.
I wish I still had them.
The price is ok, I would buy a set like that immediately...

The finish on the interior of shells also looks much better than the (unfinished) Artist series I've owned. I think it is a very good price for those & a nice period for modern Premiers. Enjoy 'em!
