FS: Yamaha Y badge SD INCREDIBLE!!!!

For the MIJ/Vintage Yamaha collector, I am offering up a very original 5x14 Yamaha Y Badge Snare Drum ensemble. Incredibly original & Clean too! All I have done to this is wipe it down with a special cloth. Yamaha/Nippon Gakki heads are like new with very clear logo's, the batter head has but a few strikes on it! Both heads are perfectly aligned with badge, never been off the drum! Oh, did I mention the drum key in it's Yamaha logo zipper pouch? Included!

Look at the pics for yourself. You will get the drum, an era Ludwig Keystone flat based stand(also in like new condition, and yes, it has been with the drum in the case), the Yamaha logo key & logo case, and the case it's been in for umpteen years to protect it. No disappointments! If you are not satisfied, send it back on your dime for a full refund! Although, I would be stunned if that happened.

These drums sound crisp and are clear cutting examples of early Yamaha engineering of their entry into the drum market.

Couple more shots of this rare beauty:

Serial# is 0952, late 60's early 70's, the earliest of the throw design. Virtually unplayed 40+ year old Yamaha.

I am not a MIJ collector, but I am offering this to move on to someone that is, and who will appreciate the originality of such a piece.

I really think this time capsule should stay together. Never considered breaking it down. Although I could not find a comp on the key, so I don't know what it's worth by itself.

Perhaps the MIJ drums are just a flash in the pan? This is Yamaha's first Snare Drum, and in virtually unplayed condition. It doesn't get any better, other than NOS.

If you could throw in a period correct Yammie kit I'd bite :)

$350 might be steep for some but that's just me. Gorgeous anyway. Worth it.
