Hi,
Well my first Ludwig drum was surrounded by much controversary so hopefully this one is easier. I read in some of the archives in this forum that Tempro was originally made in Japan by what is now Tama and Pearl in the 60s and 70s. This drum was bought by my dad after he and my mom separated so I would have a drum at his house. Best as I can remember this was 81 or 82 and it was bought used from someone selling it in the newspaper classifieds.
Any idea on what your guess would be as to age and even value as I'm selling off my drums? Also, I don't have the snares anymore, gosh knows what happened to them because in the late 80s I used it solely as another tom. It has one rust spot shown in the photo of the badge, but otherwise it's in pretty ok condition.
Thanks a lot in advance, you all are a great resource.
Shawn
