Yamaha 900(0) Series

Loading...

I figure these to be around 1977-78 or so I think based upon some old catalogs . Yamaha 9000 or(900) series drums. All birch shells just like the Recording Customs which came after them. Pretty cool set and sound great.

I gave them a complete rehab including buffing and polishing the shells along with all the chrome parts. There are still a few nicks and marks here and there but think of the stories they could tell. They were filthy and in need of a complete and detailed going over, but turned out quite nice.

Beautiful drums! I had a Maple Custom Absolute some years ago in a gorgeous silver sparkle lacquer. Enjoy your kit!
