DW drum identification

I bought this drum today. It's an 18x24". Can anyone tell by the serial number how old it is? I'm not super knowledgable in this area. Thanks in advanced for any help!

To my knowledge, early DW drums were not only not date stamped, but the serial number meant nothing.

The badge looks early, probably late 80's.
