What premier drums are these ?

Not really knowledgeable with Premier, but this looks to me like late 70's , but i'm not sure. Can anyone tell me what era are these drums from, what is the series, and are they worth picking up at this price ? What is the shell composition?.

I also noticed they have re-rings.. It looks like they could be a nice players kit that can be restored with a nice paint or satin lacquer job..Any and all info is appreciated..

I'd say mid 70s. Look like African mahogany shells from what I can see. Looks like some sort of repair/bracing on one drum, incorrect Ts and claws on one side of the bass drum. It's missing a 13" tom and was maybe a Gig Maker set up http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/premier_drumsets/1980_premier_drumsets3.jpg

That's my guess. a decent buy for $150

Cool, thanks for the info Fayray !. I'm gonna skip on it, seeing s how it is a 14" tom..If it were a 12 or 13", then maybe..Still, it is a decent buy for any garage band drummer, advanced beginner, or punker ! ;)

those Premier African mahogany shells are the biz (assuming that's what they are) and surely better than garage band/beginner material. Such is the undervalued nature of old PremsViolin
