I got this in a bag of bits with the Olympic. I'm guessing it's something to do with cymbal rivets, and it's made by Ajax, but what is it?

It's a cymbal "Sizzler"... you screw it on the top of your ride cymbal stand and let those two "outrigger's" lay on top of the ride cymbal... instant sizzle ride cymbal! If you don't want the "sizzle" sound on the ride, those two "outriggers" fold UP out of the way and your ride cymbal plays/sounds as normal! These were very popular in the 70's as I recall... ( I owned a few myself back in the day ) ... I believe that Camco marketed the most popular model, but they all work the same. Kind of a neat retro drum/cymbal gadget!
