I like the alien candy strata and the slipstream (black/yellow). With all due respect I don't know about the rest... They are interesting on their own, but I don't think they will suit vintage drums.

Alien Candy Strata looks good to me too and I would second bartw's view that most would not suit vintage drums. However, they sure look great for the big show drum sets. I can imagine guys that have those kinds of gigs could even have a few rotating sets and change the wraps occasionally using the two-sided tape.

Thanks for sharing the progress. Looking forward to seeing more.

I am working on a few varieties of vintage WMP. They are VERY tricky to re-produce though. Buddyrich12 was kind enough to send me a couple of decent sized pieces from the 60's that I am modelling from. Hopefully it won't take too long. Meanwhile I just added a couple of Abalones that are more classic.

Already added a few more including a couple of Abalones more suited for the vintage style. WMPs to come.

You have some absolutely killer work. I gotta say, if some of your more crazy patterns were around back in the 1960's, would the sparkles and pearls have been as popular with the Psychedelic bands? I think they would have gone with some other options, then blame it on the drugs LoLoLoLo
