I'm not 100% but was it just " A ", most of the badges I've seen have a full name written out, as opposed to just a upper case letter.

Maybe you should post there again? Just a thought...
Oh, is that the same kit as your original pic? Funny place for the cymbal mount - so far away! I'd do my back in reaching for the bell!
Front T-rods are Star, the distinct faucet type is a give away. The A could also be a few stencil names, like Astro, Asba, Apollo, Arai, etc, but there were so many stencil kit names that were named for the retailers that sold them, so it could be many possibilities.
I believe that A badge is an APOLLO badge. If not, it might be an Astro, but not any of those other A brands.
I concur - Star made kit there. I would try to get it for $150. If it was complete with snare and maybe hardware, and in that good condition - then sure, $200. But that is not the case. Is it worth the 150 - most certainly.
These MIJs are becoming more and more difficult to find, so I would think that the price would start to climb/ creep up as well. If that were not the case, I would say 100 or 120 tops....but I have tried to look for MIJs recently (in the last year or two) and they are most certainly becoming more and more rare.

Hello guys, I think you remember this thread:

And:
I'm going to say Star stencil. The VDG has mid-sixties catalog pages, pre-teardrop lugs which have the large BD lugs and front T-rods. The cymbal arm mount may be stencil-only, much cheaper to produce than the L-arm type.

Yep, and the cymbal arm was mounted (mainly? - not sure whether it came up at Star kits, too) at DrumMate drums.
