I know I've seen that badge before, but don't remember what brand it is. Hopefully, someone else will recognize it.

Yes, that's a good possibility. All you needed was a large enough order and you could request a custom badge. Which is why there are so many of these cool "stencil" kits!

I'm going to say Star stencil. The VDG has mid-sixties catalog pages, pre-teardrop lugs which have the large BD lugs and front T-rods. The cymbal arm mount may be stencil-only, much cheaper to produce than the L-arm type.

That badge has been posted before. Was it you ludwig402? I seem to remember reading a thread about stencil kits not that long ago and this badge came up. Don't recall if it was properly identified, but it's gotta be around here somewhere... Sorry, not much help there...
