BEWARE of HACKSAWDRUMS.

This seller is an out and out chump. I bought A 13" Radio King tom from him knowing of the hole issues. He removed the top head prior to shipping to tell me one of the tom lugs likely would need to be replaced since a fastening screw was sheared off inside one of the fasteners. Good on him for that. What HE DIDN'T reveal was upon removing the head an overwhelming mold smell permeates the air. The shell had major water damage and the 2nd of 3 plys is ROTTED. He refuses to accept the shell back and return my money although he is offering a "discount" The shell is trashed and he won't take it back. I also purchased some vintage hardware from him to be used in a photo shoot. He GUARANTEED me it would arrive in time. IT DID NOT until two days after what we agreed upon. So now I am stuck with hardware I couldn't use for the purpose I intended and again, HE WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS KID. He is trading money for his reputation. Did you use paypal as payment ? If so maybe give them a call and ask if you have any leg to stand on with them on a full refund?

I did however like many on this forum he asked to be payed with a "gift" and being the trusting soul.....i got burned! I will file a claim however thank you.

If you used the gift payment It's probably a no go on your side, But give them a call anyway.

great refund my 175.00 I will return everything you sent me and you can sell and lie to others goods that are not what they are described to be and make false promises about delivery times.

The shell is trashed and you missed the promised delivery date on the other two items rendering them useless to me since they were purchased as props for a photo shoot that had a deadline. YOU LIED.

i'm not defending the guy or belittling your situation. he should of been up front about everything.

he's on facebook ALL the time selling vintage drums and his "custom" drums.

its quite annoying and he flaked on some sales with me so he's not someone i will deal with for that reason.

I don't think you can hold him liable on the shipping, unless he didn't ship when he said he did. I've shipped though the post office and been told they would arrive by a certain date and they didn't. The post office in this case would be the liar, but he should give you a full refund on the tom.

He could have insured it would arrive on time by using two day shipping but he did not. He promised it would be to me on time. He cheaped out and now his character is showing.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS KID.
