I bought this kit from an older gentleman and they had never been played. Ive looked all over the place online and can't find This Pearl series anywhere. My guess is they're old and the series has been discontinued. I don't plan on selling the kit. But i picked it up for 200 bucks. I know i got a great deal but I'm wondering what they are worth. Any ideas? It came with the ZBT cymbals as well a ride, crash, and hats.

Somebody on here might have a clue but you're best off trying the Pearl Drummers Forum. This site is for interest in drums that are 30+ years old, as in Vintage.

A hint is to read the badge, Pearl always name their ranges on the badges. Then pop it into google and BINGO!

I'm not yet convinced that these are true Pearl drums. While it has a "Pearl" logo bass drum head and I do see some Pearl batter heads, I've never seen these lugs used by Pearl. Can you tell us what it says on those oval badges on the drum shells? That might be the clue we need. There's always the slim possibility that these drums were manufactured for a specific chain of stores. You never know!

Mark

edit: Looking at those oval badges, it does look like "Pearl" at the top. Just can't make out what it says below. That will most likely be the key to what this is!

So where is half this thread gone ?

Yesterday, I posted that these look like modern 2000+ lugs, like the forum Fusion 5 series. Then I asked what it says on the badge because it looks like it reads Centerstage series. Wby5 then posted that the badges read Pearl Custom Stage on them.

I think because of the two FT`s, that it was custom ordered. Fusion 5 series lugs with a Centerstage type badge.

Not vintage by any means.

I`ll watch to see if this post disappears too.

I got curious about the lugs too.

I swear these are the exact same lugs that were on a Yamaha Gigmaker series I unloaded for my sister last summer. As soon as I saw the lugs I thought Yammy.
