Nice find. About what do you have no idea?

Any info on this kit, the drums have rerings and unique lugs, they are not star or pearl or hoshino, the vent grommets are machined from steel billet. As you can see centre lug, three ply shells, stick saver hoops all round.

I've had a set in silver sparkle..nice 3ply,...with rings with the lugs top & bottom..

Nice kit...very lite n weight..However these are mij...the wood grain is vertical ...

The hardware didn't pit as quickly as other mij as well.

Gracy drums were not imported into the States in anywhere near the numbers of Star, Pearl and Hoshino. I do not believe they are affiliated-Gracy is Gracy.

I have come to the same conclusion and some info I have just received suggests the shell where made by a company called sakae who also made shells for yamaha.

This could be, however (vertical) grain shells..are mij Laun wood.

Unless you have a pic of yr shells proving this wrong...?
