So, just came across this cool vintage Tama Royalstar kit from the late 70's i believe, which also comes with a vintage Pearl tom of the same era.. I wanted to make an offer on just the Tama 3 piece without the Pearl tom, and was wondering what you vintage Tama guys think would be a fair offer ? I was thinking about $200 Cdn.?

It looks to be in pretty decent shape as well..

I think that is a fair offer. They look to be in good shape, need a little cleaning.

Less if you are going to be replacing a bunch of heads. Good thing all the reso hardware is there!

He mentions that they all have new heads. G2's on toms and powerstrokes on kick..

Don't try to take those lugs off (for cleaning the shell etc.).

They are 'famous' for breaking at the threads of the fixing screws.

Just let them stay at the shell and everything will stay fine.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

Here are a few pictures of a Tama Rockstar kit for sale in Sweden, about a nine hour drive from where I live in Oslo, Norway:

The seller has informed me that the kit comes from the estate of a deceased person and that he has no clue as to the value of the kit and the other equipment up for sale.

The other equipment includes Ddrum triggers, drum cases and cables among other things.

The sizes are 10", 12", 13", 14", 15", 16" and 18", plus two additional toms both at 16". Snare sizes are not known.

What would you value the drums at when taking into consideration only the model and the fact that the kit might be older than 10 years? How old could it be?

And what would you value the entire package at?

All help is much appreciated!

The seller is willing to sell the kit including the extra equipment for approximately $1200.
