@GeorgeDo you have a Tacton set at home? If yes, could you post some pics?

Yes Chris, I still have two Tacton kits now.

The first is standard beech set 20"-16"-13" from the same era as yours, it lays in cockloft at my summer village, it wrapped in yellow sparkle and its condition is still ruined because no time to let my hands.

The second is a last version birch multilayer shells wrapped in white monochrome pvc, its condition is not good, I've put it to private local museum of socialist culture because I haven't any place for storing, and both of my garages also full up to roof not only drums...

But on some holidays this kit is working at gigs on open air upon a retro truck (with the young drummer - son of my old friend who is the owner of that museum).

So sad I have no pics, but I suppose that todays condition not interesting.

Cheers,

George.

George,Could you post pics of these sets?Cheers

Rod,

As I said higher I have no pics but I think it will be possible in summer -- I'm a rare guest at my summer home in frosty winter when the snow level there is equal to my jingles... :D

Cheers,

George.

Hey Rod, I think that every winter is just a short episode in our long pension life, ha-ha... I hope that after coming warm spring I successfully will have doing cutting my apple trees following to clever articles of our great friend Phil 'Calfskin' and after that I'll could return to my poor drums restoring...

Cheers,

George.

George,

Great way to look at it!! It`s winter here as well in Canada and the northern US!!

I was proceeding nicely on restoring/detailing my Ludwig stainless drums when my father passed away...I now have no time for much, let alone drums...

Cheers
