I absolutely love the sound of these drums.
I don't care about the condition of the wrap.
Players kits are fine, as long as the edges are good and hardware is decent.
Any leads are greatly appreciated!

If you haven't done so already, you should join the Vintage Sonor FB-group.
Also, there is big difference between the pre ca 1964-65 very thin 3-ply teardrop shells with rerings, and the much thicker shells of the post 1964-65 6-plies without rerings. It may be a good thing to specify which era shell you are after.
Good luck with the hunt!

Thanks Magnus- I'll check that out.
I play mostly jazz/bebop stuff, so probably the 3-ply.
Though the 6-ply have a great sound at lower tunings.
Anyone know if the 6-ply's can be tuned up for jazz?
Or, if the 3-plys can tune down to funk/soul range?
Thanks again.
I sent you an email describing my Sonor Tearz for sale.

Nice kit. However, I doubt that the FT is really 14x14 as it says in the ad. More likely it is 16x16.

That's definitely a 16 .
After seeing it in person it definitely does look like a 16, good catch!
