Great find and a better story. You've inspired me to start working on my Rogers Bandstand Duco kit. At least you don't have to re-enforce all of the lugs to make it usable.

Cool! If don't mind post some pics. Don't recall ever seeing a Rogers Duco. True no re-enforce but ended up short 11 lugs. Stash and ebay came through to mend that.

2 1/4". My guess pre war shells...

So, took one last pic before the bass comes apart and tom mounts get cleaned. May be a few day's before any updates. Swine work is getting in the way :-)

Update:

Quick shot of bits in the hotplate Dawn soak. I like < 100 degrees. Around 95 f.seems good. These have only been in a couple of hours. Crap comes off faster but got's to watch for no boil down etc..All will get scrubbed for a tumbler experience. Fun stuff, Creighton

Wow, for the duco finish, those look to be in really good shape! That finish doesn't stand the the test of time very well. Those, on the other hand....

Odd, but vintage bits survive well here. There are yards with 30+ cars where the chrome is mint on every one. Been outside for years.

Enough of that. Some bits before they get final polish.
