It's 99% certain that it's aluminum. There's never a 100% with Ludwig! But, there are a couple of ways to tell if it's aluminum of brass. If it's brass, it will weigh about 10 pounds. If it's aluminum, it will weigh about 7-1/2 pounds. But, it's almost assuredly aluminum.
