Hi, I'm in the market for above mentioned snares. I like them with all original parts. Not too fussy about wires and heads, but original wires would be a bonus. Obviously the condition should be good, but doesn't have to be mint. As long as it's in round and no issues with any lugs. All original tension rods also a bonus.

I'm in Europe if there are any sellers willing to ship.

Thanks in advance,

Just wanted to make mention... the Rogers SuperTen is NOT COB. It's COS .. chrome over steel .. the Rogers metal Powertone IS COB however. Don't discount the SuperTen though! GREAT playing/sounding snare drums, and certainly deserving of more recognition!

Thanks, Tommy. I always just assumed it was a like a Dyna-Sonic without the snare bridge / frame. Cheers for the tip. I wouldn't say no to a SuperTen, but I'll go with the Powertone for that brass shell. :)

Glad you found a SuperTen! I was almost ready to offer up mine. Even though I don't currently use it, I'm still attached to it! They're really great snare drums! Here's a picture of it with my custom painted Pearl kit.

Very nice setup, Mark. Thanks for sharing the pic. There seems to be a lot of mixed opinions on these snares. I have a steel Sonor Ferro Manganese 10 lugger that's simply amazing. I'm sure the SuperTen won't disappoint. :)

The SuperTen is a very capable drum. Tune it just like you would a Dyna-Sonic.. you can use the Rogers issues spec sheet for that, or even follow the TommyP cut sheet, ignoring the stuff about the frame. Heads of your choice, but I would recommend a Coated Ambassador or Diplomat single ply top, and an Ambassador weight snare side .003 mil if you are going for one of the other brands. The drum will be sensitive, have great tone, focused sound at center, and you can make it as ringy as you want playing out from center, without a loss of power or depth.

Did I mention, I like the SuperTen?
