That's a sharp looking kit, Matt. Someone took good care of it.

Pearl makes great drums. I've never played a Pearl kit that sounded bad. They usually have a great sounding kick drum.

Anyway, congrats on the new kit.

You've never played a Forum.

As for the World Series.I've played them and they are big , fat and warm.

Excellent sounding kit.

I would recommend them highly.

I've been playing on one when I rehearse at my friends studio. They have one in the back drum room, and It just sounds so good I always give it 5 minutes of my time. I've been contemplating making an offer on the kit to the owner. What's a good fair price for one in used but good condition? The badge on the kit says Made In Taiwan, I did notice some on here didn't. Is that a later badge?

I just wanted to reinforce this kit is from the late 80s/very early 90s.

My first kit was an Export from 89 and I had an Export/World series catalog I learned by heart :) That's the look.

Soon after, they introduced long lugs on both series, or rather, chrome bars in between top and bottom lugs, not sure when exactly.
