Hi guys. I guess I'm where many of you have been on a rehab. My first time and I'm getting tired. 97% completed and then the floor tom mount fails. More money, more time. I just want to be done! So, I'm looking for one Slingy 70s era floor tom mount. More a players kit than a museum piece, doesn't have to be perfect-just working. Thanks for your help. Don't mean to sound negative-just a little frustrated. Dean Cooked Egg

Man, those things are always shot, or on the verge of being shot. I retap them the next size up and then use stainless allen head bolts..

Are you referring to the 590 leg bracket? Yeah, they do strip out. A good fix without going up to the next bolt size is to do a Helicoil repair.

Guys, shopped at Steve Maxwell's for the part. Will work and just what I needed. Prefer to shop here, but I think Steve is a member? Appreciate the help. I will also try to experiment with the heliocoil as I have several defunct Sling hardware pieces that need a re-threading.
You guys always a great help. Sincerest thanks. d. Bowing
