Tension Rod Variations???

Loading...

Hello!

I am curious as to the different tension rods manufactured throughout the years. Does each drum manufacturer (Ludwig, Slingerland, etc) have their own "style" of tension rods? I have a couple of different kinds, and am unsure of what is correct for the year\manufacturer, but I have a good guess. Any insight would be great :D

I don't have a camera capable of taking decent pictures, so I can't include any photos of what I have :( Sorry

Thanks!

James

Yes, there are DEFINITELY variations, though I've never bothered studying the subtleties. There are those in vintage drum circles that could most likely spot their brand a mile away. But I'm not all that anal about it so I haven't bothered checking.
