It's almost ended now, but I'm curios as to your opinions about it. I put my bid just for fun. Wonder how high it's gonna go.

Here's the ebay quotes and pics:
For auction is an early wooden GRETSCH SNARE DRUM that appears to be completely original. Also found in estate attic with the other items we are listing. Has round medallion, very decent wood finish, all hardware [bottom skin is broken] and what looks like original snare wires. Looks easy to restore or part it out. I understand from a local drummer that even the medallion has significant value.. Thank you for bidding.
Tnx mcjnic, I was planning to do that after the auction's end. What do you think of it?
I think it's a neat snare. I like the finish and the head. Love those snares. Neat old Radio King batter. Great lugs and hoops. I really like it. Restored, it would be killer. I picked up a really cool Slingerland wood hoop in gold sparkle recently. I love these old snares. They record well and really add a neat voice. I'm using mine as a stand alone with brushes on acoustic gigs. Sweet old drums, these.
Wow! Can't believe I won it for 76usd... Well, I thought it will go for much much more, seems to be pretty old, 50s maybe? I know little about Gretsch history as of yet, so any educated opinions about this deal are welcome. Just hope it's not an onion, or how you say it, lemon lol.
Very nice one you have kev. Rest assured that I will probably pay double to get it shipped home lol.
