What the heck is this floor tom?

What's with the hardware inside the drum? Lugs look like 80's Swingstar but I don't recognize anything else on this shell.

The floor tom leg holder castings, and the mechanism mounted on the lower area of the shell are without doubt Meazzi Hollywood President. The mechanism shown is the Meazzi tympani tunable floor tom outer shell assembly used to set the pedal to a definite pitch.

The lug castings are definitely Tama Swingstar.

The shell itself? Looks recovered ... maybe Meazzi but can't identify from the photo.

My best guess - originally a Meazzi tympani tom in decrepit condition which has been retro fitted with Tama lugs. If that is the case the shell diameter will be ever so slightly larger than 16" because of the metric system.
