Sorry for the non vintage question. But it sort of relates to the old Salesman Special finish drums. Anyone see Questlove's new Ludwig drums on the Tonight Show? He has some nice drums and seems to get new kits every 6 months or so. I think his new kit is just really cool looking with all the different wrap colors. Anyone hear about this or know anything about them? I looked online to no avail. Even the Ludwig site has a empty profile on Ahmir. Pics are just some TV screen shots I grabbed. Would love to have a kit like this. Not for everyone but I like obscure stuff like this!
OT....New Questlove Ludwig kit............
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

I would imagine that with his Ludwig endorsement deal, he probably has access to any shell size and all custom colors that us "regular folk" can't get.

Yep bet your right Justin. Endorsement deals sure have their perks. Would be cool if us regular folk could get stuff like this too. I was looking for a email addy on the LW site to inquire and couldn't find one. No mention of the new kit on the LW facebook pages either. I thought even with the popular Breakbeat kits there would be some mention out there on the new drums he sports on the Tonight Show. I dig this kit right down to the green sparkle inlay on the bass hoop! Oh well was just wondering if anyone had some info on it. Thanks for chiming in! :)

Something about him just makes me smile! Always in the pocket and his attention to detail is amazing

No need to knock Beiber's performance. How many of us could get up in front of a live national audience and take on Questlove? The kid has balls and he pulled it off. He's up against one of the top pro's in the country, I think Beiber did alright. Respect.
John
It's not a question of, how many of us could, but a question of, how many of us would ever have the opportunity to play with Questlove. i would hope most of the drummers here could play better than the Bieber.
He's a joke and has no business being behind a set of drums.
