Another mystery snare drum.....

I have the CB 700 with those lugs on it. Found it in the trash one day walking to work, it sat in for my D506 that got lifted, I was glad to find it because before that, I was using a cookie sheet taped to my throne

The CB 700 has had many lugs outfitted to it for various reasons. The throw is a Champion/Phonic/Ludwig copy. The earlier lug has one high spot on the face.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

All I have ever seen on early-mid CB's is either 70"s Pearl clones or Wristwatch.

Id love to see a pic of a cb700, or anything else with exact lugs.

Very interesting to discover this lug in MIJ Stencilville. Sides look like Pearl and the spine looks like.... Tama cloning Rogers.

Yes, the shell scream CB....like most here, I would very much like to see a pic of this exact snare restored....with a CB700 badge.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Those lugs are different than the early CB-700/Powersoic ones I had way back... I don't recall ever seeing them before. Maybe not a North American market lug?

My frind had the wrist watch style ones, which were a bit newer than mine.

But the shell is for shure Pearl stencl. CB and Powersonic both had the same shell. Came in 8 or 10 lug flavors, and were chrome right over the steel, so they rusted in about 20 minutes after unwrapping...
