It is pretty thin and the Home Depot website says it is 0.0092 thick, it can be cut with a sharp scissors easily. Just got to be careful not to cut yourself on the edges while applying it.

Thanks, that's good to know. It's a very effective solution

I used two sided tape in a few spots and glue at the seam overlap area and made sure the seam overlapped about an inch and placed it right under a lug. The lugs themselves and other hardware seem to hold everything and place, and nothing rattles or buzzes.

They look really good. What a great solution. Hayman Drums are great sounding drums. I have a snare in the original silver finish. Its a fantastic recording snare.
