Hi, I have my eye on a drum on eBay, but seller will not ship to Ireland. I have an idea to pay somebody on VDF to buy this drum, have it shipped to themselves and then forward it on to me. In order to pull this off I would need to get the drum very cheap. I must consider shipping followed by more shipping and also your finders fee. I don't want to be in it 500 dollars for a 12" tom, so if somebody there can win this auction for 100 dollars ( not likely, but worth a punt) then there will be some meat left on the bone for all that shipping and a finders fee for you. Trustworthy, prompt payment, genuine drum collector, player here.

I know it's a tall order, but this is an American drum, very rare here and I need it to go with my 20" WFL bass drum. Please do not feel obligated to help out. I can always wait for another one to show up on eBay, but thought I'd mention this. finders fee will be US$50 if I can get it for under $100.

That drum is in great shape. Unfortunately I do not think it will stay under 100 bucks.

Oh this drum is in Quebec! Where's our Quebec guys eh? Still at $68 USD $84 CDN....it's possible. I could do it, and for $50 CDN which would save you a bit of meat for the bone.

The better half says we could put in on the card long as we get it right back which of course is your offer...

Didn't realise the seller was in Québec. Thanks for the offer. I know Canada post can take 4 - 6 weeks for international shipping which is a bit a pain in the ol arse. I tell you what, I might just let this go and wait for another one to show up on feeBay. Thanks for offering to help out, but as others have said - the drum should sell for more than 100 US. I think in the end I'd probably be way in over my head with all the fees. I'd have to pay taxes on it when it arrives here too. Let's watch the drum and see what it sells for anyway. It appears to be in great condition and those 12" drums with the WFL badge are very rare.

Yes I just checked the bidding history and there's a couple guys who seem pretty determined lol. Not surprising it's a sweet drum. And yes all the fees and taxes are a bit much....kind of a disgrace really; what's all this talk of "free trade" that does us no good at all?

Anyway glad to offer and yeah lets see what happens...
