Check it out and you decide if these are worth the price....
And then there's this one.....again clueless....
I mean.....my kit (see attached photo) was played by Sully Erna of Godsmack a few times at an open mic nite years ago before Godsmack made it big (back when they were a cover band....yes a coverband! we all know it they just won't admit it!), but does that make my kit worth $8000.00? Most likely not.....some people just need to get a clue on ebay....Mind Blowi DOH
I never even look at that seller's descriptions anymore. I've nicknamed him "JoeyHuh?" for my own amusement here of late.
DOHDOHDOH
Saw this earlier today, these wouldn't be the drums Pete Best played on
WITH the Beatles, just maybe something he played on long after right?

Its a "reissue ringo kit" aka the Fab4 kit...6ply shells. Pete didn't get his Ludwigs until AFTER he was out of the Beatles. He played a Premier kit while he was with the Beatles. And the Ludwigs he did play after the Beatles were a 3ply kit in BLUE Oyster not BLACK Oyster. So, yes maybe he played them, but are they worth it since they were not HIS?
Not worth it to me.
I wonder what his Premier kit would be worth, the one he played on with
the Beatles.
And BTW, I wonder if Ringo still has a few of his Beatles kits or if
they have been sold?

Pete's Premier kit would be worth a fortune, if it can be found. He claims to have traded it in back in the 60's for the Ludwig kit, but its wheareabouts are unknown now. As far as Ringo's Ludwig kits, he still owns every one of them, save for the bass drum and floor tom of the first downbeat kit.....those were unfortunately destroyed in a house fire several years ago. His Premier kit from the Beatles and Rory Storm days has yet to surface, although a few have claimed them to be the kit, they have not been the actual drums. They were last known to have gone to Australia in the 60's shortly after he traded them in on the Ludwigs in London. Aftter that.....no one knows.
Cool info, thanks ! :)
" FLOOR TOM HAS A SLIGHT DING IN THE WRAP. CANT SEE IT ,FACES YOU WHEN PLAYING."
This is my favourite part Mister T
