21* Istanbul K Zildjian

Loading...

Hi - ANy help on how to properly date/value Istanbul K's? Mine has an Umbrella shape - I've included a pic and a close-up of the stamp - I don't see any other distinguishing markings/characteristics but then I'm a novice interested in selling what I'm told is a pretty valuable relic.

Thanks, Brad

Looks like an Intermediate Stamp, circa 1960. Value will depend largely on gram weight, soundfile, and condition (cracks, etc.). Is it exactly 21", or a little over?

Agree it looks like an intermediate stamp, but the spacing is unusual to my less than expert eyes. There is only a small amount of space between the moon and the Arabic script and between the arabic script and the K. Zildjian text. Also the K Zildjian text looks disproportionally large to me, but if the camera was on a angle, the perspective could be causing that.

I'd choke a donkey to have that cymbal - did you weight it yet? PM me if you still want to sell.
