1963 Premier Black Diamond Pearl

Loading...

Hello,

First time posting. This is my 1963 Premier black diamond pearl, (I believe) model "58". I bought it from a friend in the UK and all it needed was a good cleanup, wrap and chrome were perfect. Here are some pics of when it was acquired in Manchester UK, and then it was shipped to me thanks to a member on this forum (CJ).

Sweet! Nice job on the restoration. I am a huge Premier fan. Did you get the Lokfast snare stand in the initial picture? Those are the hands down, the best looking stands ever.

Color looks to be blue diamond Pearl.

That kit is either late 50s up to about '61 looking at where the tom mount is located.

They are all 3 ply birch. That 12" tom is pre-international size.

My tom was pre-int as well!

Great looking pearl, way brighter than the one I scored

Seems to be a few of these Premiers popping up all of a sudden too! :D

I resisted saying this when first you posted that pic, but I can't help it - that setup, while wildly wrong, is so cool looking I would seriously consider learning to play the kit set up that way. A la Mickey Dolenz or whatever...

Just another dumb thought....:)
