Trade Near Mint Club Dates for Ludwig Set

I may have gone crazy, but the set is now complete including all correct hardware and matching PIONEER snare in Champagne Sparkle

20" 12" 14" plus 14" snare!!!!

All hardware is Beautiful

Included is everything...flat base 1400 hi hat, flat base cymbal stand, L arm, and wfl snare stand which thatand cymbal stand are button flat based!

Nice Speedking pedal and new Ludwig weathermaster heads

The only issue is the floor tom (which is also NM) is a Precision Drum Co. wrap which is a very very close match (old Bermuda sand) but not exact but very very close match. Changes in certain light but is hard to see being its is on the floor...sometimes its looks perfect. The snare is definitely more pink! The FT has non original tension rods and hoops

The snare is dead mint as are most of the drums but one cannot use that term, however the snare has its original Ludwig yellow oval box case!

I am looking for:

Classic Maple set with 2 mounted toms, floor and snare.

-Must NOT be modular mounts or retracting spurs

Sparkle finishes or cheery lacquer preferred

22" bass drum or larger

To potential traders: I'm not one to start anything on VDF. I've been a happy and respectful camper here for many years. Though when terribly insulted I'm not one to sit by and take abuse. Such was the case when I enquired about this kit from this newcomer to VDF, datasouth. I did nothing to deserve this verbal abuse.

I encourage everyone here to think long and hard about doing business with such a negative person. God bless and stay positive.

Then when I told him no trade and listed in the trade section and they would probably be pricey with the hardware and all new cases. He came back with "My wife would kill me if I got another set. This would be the 5th one " LETS GET THIS ALL OUT IN THE OPEN Boys and I am not a new user here I am a full member. Mr. LarryZ the started saying that I "needed to get laid" and that I was not welcome on VDF! I was really patient with this "guru" and quite kind to him, even after he suggested how I was to sell them and how much he though I could get from them aprox "$2000. THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE. Never have been and Larry even got delusional about him asking if they were for sale. Just Get it Correct Larryz. Save the drama for your mama.

So true Mark!, but... it's just not in human nature to ALWAYS get along, although it would indeed be nice as you have mentioned. Too many different approaches/thought processes for that to ever happen. Personally, as the "sitting mod" of the VDF, I have no issue with disagreements and/or the occasional verbal skirmish, as long as they are kept civil. And yes!... one CAN civilly disagree with another, it's just when it deteriorates into ugliness, slander, vitriol, etc. that we have to take action on the thread. Otherwise, yes!... we can try to all get along!, and for the most part, we certainly DO on the VDF !

Those slingys certainly are nice and definitely worth $2000. I have a blue sparkle kit in 20/16/12 - good luck with the trade.
