What were Rogers "Big R" Drums made from?

Loading...

A kit in white wrap turned up at my local Guitar Center. Looks like the inside of the shells had re-rings with some sort of Granitone type finish. 12/13/16/22

Very deep toms, and the 13" rack tom had 8 lugs per head. Bass drum had 12 lugs per head. Floor tom had swivo-type legs (hex) and mounts. Tom holders and spurs are ENORMOUS!

Thanks! Some really great info there! Thanks for presenting it so thoroughly!

Were Granitone type interiors used at some point? The ones I saw definitely had re-rings and granitone.

The speckled grey paint inside was used from 1967 to 1975.
