We took the 1958 Duco Slingerlands, 22" Bass, 12" Tom, and 3 ply matching snare. 1950's 14" Zildjian Hats and 20" ride.

That's mighty fine.... wow, 12 years old, how long has he been playing with a band?
He started playing drums a little over a year ago. He doesn't really play with a band. He goes to a lot of jams and some of the guys have asked him to play with them. He has been playing pretty steady with one of the guitar players which has helped him a lot. He's a little drum junkie for sure LOL. The other cool thing for him is that he's getting to be around some experienced/successful musicians that have taken an interest in him.
FYI those '58's got a lot of attention while we were in Austin.
